Wed. July 14th

Animals in the Ngorongoro Crater we saw were SO numerous:
  • lions
  • cheetah
numerous types of birds (including a crested crane. vultures, white and pink flamingos)
  • hyena
  • wildebeest
  • giraffes
  • water buffalo
  • lots of zebras
  • ostrich
  • hippos (in fact ate lunch right by their pool)
  • more Thompson gazelles (there are thousands of them!)
